When the days in school end with graduation day, dilemma about higher study begins. Even with a strong academic performance a lot of students forsake their dream of pursuing higher study, not by choice but by compulsion. This is where the existence of HSYWE serves its purpose, rescuing students from financial compulsion.
HSYWE offers scholarships for higher education and vocational training to financially disadvantaged youth within Nepal’s Himalayan-ethnic communities. The amount of monetary assistance granted is based on the financial need of each scholarship recipient. Aid is provided for educational institutions in Nepal. The progress of each scholarship student will be monitored on a regular basis, and students will be required to submit their class results.
